We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to continue to scale this program and take us to new heights.<br/><br/>The team is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker to join as a Sr. Strategy Manager in Culver City. This role will play a crucial part in shaping the future of Amazon MGM Studios by helping evaluate and execute strategic initiatives and drive key business decisions. This professional should have a strong background in studio strategic analysis, business development, and a deep understanding of the media and entertainment landscape. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>• Drive strategy documents on theatrical film content investments, slate strategy, business planning, and distribution analysis; monitor slate performance and understand sources of variance.<br/>• Identify box office trends and opportunities to inform movie investment decisions and slate strategy.<br/>• Support long-term strategic planning for Amazon MGM, including new business models and cross-functional opportunities.<br/>• Author business-driving documents that surface key learnings and provide recommendations for our go-forward content offering.<br/>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, content, operations, and other Amazon entertainment portfolio teams to drive strategic projects from concept to execution. - 6+ years of Content Strategy, Programming Strategy, and/or Marketing Strategy experience<br/>- Experience in verbal and written communication for executive level leaders<br/>- Experience leading large-scale programs/projects<br/>- Experience in modeling (Excel) and data analyses - Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities<br/>- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic role with a focus on media and entertainment.<br/>- Passion for the evolving media landscape and the business of entertainment. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
